Lots of change. That’s the theme of the past year. Much of it very difficult. Some of it sweetly sublime. Looking back, I am astounded at how much and how little has shifted. These album covers hang on the wall…originally set with a level…now, askew. Shifted in the series of tremors that have rolled through the earth beneath home this past month. I’ve not “righted” them…finding their tentative angles somehow appropriate to this time. Time Out. Breathing in peace. Noticing beauty and symmetry and the cycles of nature on this first day of November.

Dan says the little tremors are good because they relieve the tension in the faultlines. It’s when there are no tremors that we need to worry.
There seems to be some dispute to that theory, where in these clusters look like fore-shocks to a big one…but we won’t know for sure til we’re looking in the rear view mirror!
