Carrots. In a pan. Not a fan of these orange “good for you” root vegetables. But seeing their brightness against the dull steel with a bit of oil somehow seemed artful. The creativity of cooking has been more of a theme this week than intended. But when the muse shows up, I’m finding that I do reach for the camera and try to capture what I’m seeing that inspires even a little. Not that carrots can inspire much…unless they are hidden in a cake. With extra cream cheese frosting.
