November 17

there's got to be a morning after

Last week there was a really big wind storm.  Our little abode shook as gusts rattled the windows and in the distance we could see bows bending.  Little did we know til morning came around how much the bows broke! On the eastern horizon, one of the 60 foot trees now stands about 40 feet.  And to the west, three doors down…well, a big tree crashed into the roof of the church leaving insurance and forestry projects for the week ahead.  Today, I finally caught the scene on the camera.  Quite dramatic and so I present two shots, that tell a story.

it was a dark and stormy night....
